I recently had the privilege (and challenge) of managing a fairly complex integration project. This type of project is nothing new – I manage about 10 integration-type projects per year. Typically, the toughest part of the project is simply deciding on the data details (XML, EDI, delimited, batch, API, etc) and getting all players to agree. However, when the project involves inept players, it quickly goes from fun to painful agony.
